  • development of modern theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of agrobiological processes, increasing crop productivity, preserving soil fertility, and adapting to climate change;
  • support for interdisciplinary research in the field of sustainable development of the agricultural sector, biosafety, and organic production;
  • ensuring that publications meet the requirements for scholarly journals of Category “B” for awarding the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Sciences in the field of agricultural sciences.

2. Communication

  • creation of an open scientific platform (Open Access) for the exchange of research results between Ukrainian and international agricultural scientists;
  • promotion of academic discussion on current issues of agricultural science, food security, plant breeding, biodiversity conservation, and efficient use of natural resources;
  • dissemination of scientific knowledge among researchers, students of agricultural specialties, farmers, agronomists, veterinarians, and employees of the agro-industrial complex;
  • organization of effective communication between authors, reviewers, and the editorial board based on transparency and efficiency.

The journal covers current issues of agrarian science by sections:

- agriculture, crop production, vegetable growing and melons;

- animal husbandry, fodder production, preservation and processing of agricultural products;

- land reclamation and fertility;

- ecology, ichthyology and aquaculture.
